How We Are Made – The NZ Charly Way
“Have less but better, select rather than accumulate.”
At NZ Charly, every piece is designed to be worth keeping — thoughtfully made in New Zealand from responsible yarns, finished by hand, and created with near-zero waste.
Our Slow-Fashion Philosophy
Clothing should feel like it truly belongs in your life — pieces you reach for year after year. That’s why we start with locally sourced, regenerative yarns and end with knitwear you’ll love from first wear.
Made in Small Batches, Here in Aotearoa
Each NZ Charly knit is crafted in small batches with a trusted team in Auckland. Working closely with local makers lets us slow down, work thoughtfully, and uphold fair, respectful conditions throughout.
Low Waste by Design
Our process knits pieces seamlessly so we only use the yarn required — no cutting, no offcuts to landfill. Leftover yarn is repurposed into beanies, socks, or repair kits to extend the life of your favourites.
Hand-Finished Details
Every garment is hand-finished and quality-checked, with each label carefully stitched as the final touch.
