Caring for your Knitwear

Caring for your Knitwear

I strongly believe in slow fashion which is why I create garments that will last in both quality and design if properly cared for.

Check out the simple care guide below or reply to this email and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In order for your garment to last, reasonable caution and care should be applied.

Hand wash with room temp water and a gentle wool grade detergent (an eco-friendly washing powder is generally best... for the washing, your skin, and for the environment)
Don't use fabric softeners. These coat the fibres & flatten the surface structure of the fabric. (They are generally highly chemical and can cause the garment to wear out much quicker.)
Don’t rub the fabric. This is the main cause of pilling.

Please AVOID - ironing, bleaching, and tumble-drying.

Steam gently, to freshen and smooth your item. Ironing will crush the fibres and ruin the cuddly feel.
Store your knits folded to avoid stretching your knit out of shape.
Store with our special moth repelling Cedar block
Please be cautious while wearing jewellery, as this can sometimes snag on the garment causing a pull, or with force a snag / hole.
