Yes. In New Zealand, brushtail possums are an introduced pest that damage native forests and birdlife. Using their fibre supports conservation while creating ultralight warmth when blended with merino and silk.

Merino regulates temperature and resists odour, possum adds light loft and extra warmth, silk gives strength and sheen, cotton and linen offer cool breathability. Together they’re comfortable across seasons.

Hand wash (or delicate cycle in a bag) in cool water with wool detergent. Reshape and dry flat out of direct sun. Avoid heat and tumble drying. Air between wears to reduce washing and extend life.
