I first met Averill on my initial sales trip to Wanaka. Her boutique stood out instantly. Averill has an eye for detail and a passion for making women feel comfortable and beautiful in their clothing. She has built of team of equally inspiring women around her. Together, Averill, Rosemary and Debbie have been bringing a beautiful range of clothing to Wanaka's women since 2019.
Why did you start Albertine?
I started Albertine because I wanted a complete change of lifestyle. I spent several years working as a remote nurse overseas. I also wanted to reposition my life. So I opened Albertine as a way of providing high quality Italian fashion and items made with sustainable & natural fabrics, perfect for the unique Wanaka lifestyle.
What is your favourite thing about Wanaka?
I'm so thankful to be surrounded by the majestic mountains with the lake at my doorstep! Grateful to be home to enjoy this beautiful location. It's definitely something I missed while overseas.
